Keeping Kids Moving!

Our kids have had a few difficult, unprecedented years, with COVID lockdowns and floods interrupting their physical and social development in a way that medics and scientists are yet to define.  But now we are starting the comeback! Our programs are designed to get kids away from the devices, keep them connected with others and keep them active while they try different sports and exercises under the guidance of trained Physical Education teachers. Our focus is on participation and fun but children will also learn about the skills and strategies involved in each sport and how their bodies benefit from exercise. Parents can also request ‘specialism’ coaching in certain sports.

About The Coaches

Tamati Elers

He is an experienced senior HPE teacher with over 20 years experience coaching all sports including rugby league and union in u10s - u18s boys and girls school, club and representative teams. He enjoys various aspects of coaching, from helping to develop and improve players' skill, technique, attitude and confidence to learning from other coaches, trainers, managers and players. He has not only coached his students but also daughters' teams as well.He says “I’ve found coaching both challenging and rewarding. Mainly, I've found that if you treat everyone as individuals, get to know them, break down the skill without complicating it and being patient, then every player will make progress. Helping a players' confidence and attitude is also vital whilst creating a safe learning environment. Allowing players to think and analyse before just 'giving them the answer' is also important.
